Police & Crime Commissioner for Cheshire, Dan Price, and Chief Constable Mark Roberts are looking to appoint a member of the Joint Audit Advisory Committee (JAAC), which provides independent assurance around the governance and financial arrangements of the Constabulary and Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
While it is not a scrutiny function, the JAAC support good governance and strong financial management and advise the Commissioner and Chief Constable directly.
Members must have a good understanding of risk management, governance, audit and financial controls and the annual accounts.
