FIRMWARE ENGINEER

New contract opportunity available in Portsmouth for a Firmware Engineer to join a Modems and Software Defined Radio group

• 3 days a week on-site in Portsmouth
• Initial 12-month contract
• £75ph via Umbrella
• 37 hours per week
• 1 stage interview
• SC clearance required

WHAT WILL THE FIRMWARE ENGINEER BE DOING?

You will be working as part of a team to generate, test and integrate code to support innovative solutions for software-defined modem technologies. The team will be delivering a new product to a key Defence client.

WE NEED THE FIRMWARE ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…

• Experience working with Xilinx products
• Understanding of DSP
• VHDL Encoding to a high standard in a Linux environment
• Verilog and/or SystemVerilog knowledge
• An active SC is required for the role
