EMEA Security Manager
Location: Cheltenham
Clearance: Candidates must currently hold the highest level of UK Government security clearance. The ideal candidate will hold an enhanced clearance "Green badge".
Role Overview:
The EMEA Security Manager oversees diverse security operations and compliance for the EMEA region, including classified program support, crisis management, business resiliency, security risk mitigation, and insider threat detection.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the regional security function, ensuring alignment with security leads across sectors.
- Ensure efficient, compliant security service delivery according to ISO standards.
- Oversee personnel, physical, and technical asset security across the EMEA region, with evolving responsibilities.
- This role is based in the UK but covers regional duties throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Person Specification
Essential
- Senior-level experience in security within government or the defence sector, advising at VP/Director levels.
- Proven leadership in direct and matrixed organizations.
- Successful delivery of large security projects in a global context.
- Experience managing transitions in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with ISO27001.
Security Certifications (One or more required):
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
- Industrial Security Professional (ISP)
- NIST Cyber Security Framework (NCSF)
Competencies/Skills:
- Deep knowledge of security standards, legislation, and best practices across security domains.
- Ability to identify risks and create mitigation strategies.
Other requirements
Travel requirements: Occasional travel, both in the UK and throughout the EMEA region, attending meetings, conferences, training activities, performing security assessments, and undertaking various security project activities. Valid UK driving licence and current passport.
