This role is Inside IR35.
Contract Length: 10-15 months
Clearance: SC/DV
Location: Aldermaston/Winnersh - Hybrid working
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct full and detailed SPI, CPI variance analysis and subsequent root cause analysis, followed by provision of narrative, recommendations & recovery planning in accordance with monthly reporting timescales.
• Establish the Project Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and lead on the preparation of cost studies utilising historical data.
• Developing benchmarking information to meet specific needs.
• Provide trended data to the Project Manager based on performance to date and emerging trends including making recommendations.
• Tracking manpower productivity and analysing time booked to projects including resource usage vs. planned, resource constraints, etc. and make any relevant recommendations to the Project Manager
Essential
• Professionally qualified with chartered or equivalent status
• Success in a Project Controls environment or similar Cost role on a major construction project
• Adept with tech such as Cost tools, Excel, and IT
• Building rapport and creating great relationships
• Motivating and building teams
• Good standard of general education, including business / project management qualification or equivalent or proven level of experience.
• Experience of NEC Contracts
• Diverse experience of forecasting
• Diverse experience in receipting
• Extensive MS Excel experience
• Fine with Public or private sector experience
Desirable
• Professionally qualified with chartered or equivalent status
• Oracle Fusion would be ideal
• Construction area experience would be beneficial, but not essential. They work in the ‘bricks and sticks’ construction side.
