Senior Estimator

Location: Reading, West Berkshire

We are seeking a Senior Estimator with significant experience in Estimator or Cost Planning roles, particularly in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and PPP (Pre Project Planning). You should have expertise in cost management for design and build construction projects and be skilled in managing multiple stakeholders.

Key accountabilities:

• Provide cost estimates and cost plans within levels of certainty, provisioning effective monitoring, forecasting and control of financial limits
• Assist value engineering assessments and evaluation as part of the project process.
• Providing estimating input to performance reporting, risk and change assessments.
• Review estimate bases including the supporting project controls, supply chain and technical artefacts
• Provide robust cost advice and analysis to support key business decision making and reviews
• Develop and maintain clear and auditable basis of estimate documentation
• Review, assuring quality of cost estimating artefacts
• Provide estimating support to risk assessments and mitigation actions.

Key requirements:

• Significant experience in an Estimator or Cost Planning role
• Experience of FEED (Front End Engineering Design)/ PPP (Pre Project Planning)
• Experience of cost management for design and build construction projects
• Experience of managing multiple stakeholders.

Desirable

• Chartered Quantity/ Building Surveyor/
• ACostE or RICS
