Assistant Company Secretary – Predominantly remote

As Assistant Company Secretary you will act as authorised signatory for the signing of legal Deeds, registering the use of the company seal and working alongside stakeholders to ensure Deeds are administered within the timeframes.

Key accountabilities:

  • Organise and prepare agendas and take minutes of board meetings and annual general meetings.
  • Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries.
  • Deal with correspondence, collating information and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to meeting discussions and advise members of the legal, governance, accounting and tax implications of proposed policies.

 

Key requirements

  • Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
  • Experience of working at a mid/senior level within a company secretarial function.
  • Experience supporting at board level or its committees.
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience of Company Law and Combined Code requirements.

If you are successful in securing this role, please note that for the entire duration of this contract, regardless of extension you will be working this role at the equivalent PAYE rate that has been advertised.
