Do you want to join a cohesive team as a storage and backup engineer? We are looking for an experienced storage engineer to join a team to assist with BAU functions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provision and manage infrastructure using relevant vendor toolsets;
• Build, manage and implement complex changes
• Manage infrastructure servers, switches, fabrics & tape libraries
• Configuring and amending backups; backup reporting, failure resolution, report creation & distribution;
• Data restoration activities from simple file level restoration through application & database restoration;
• Deploy toolset agents to supported servers;
• Deploy and support highly available virtual applications and desktops via thin client technologies;

Key Skills:

• History of working with SAN systems & storage/ disk arrays Expert working with SAN fabric
• High degree of technical competence in storage technologies:
  • NetApp
  • Powershell 
  • Active IQ Monitoring
  • OnTap
  • SCOM

• High degree of technical competence in storage area network technologies:
• Brocade switch management
• High degree of technical competence in archive & backup technologies:
• Cohesity
• NetBackup
• Minimum existing level of SC clearance

You MUST have pre-existing SC clearance to qualify for this role.
