Our client, a large government customer, are seeking an Exit Solution Architect to join their team. The role is based in Corsham with possible travel to other sites. The role requires DV clearance.

Requirements are scheduled to run until 30/09/2023 and offer a rate up to £530/day

IR35 STATUS: Outside IR35. Our client has indicated that they intend to operate the engagement as Outside IR35.

Overview

The requirement is to provide Solution Architect support to Deployed Platform Services to manage and find solutions for the key Deployed dependencies. This will involve authoring, developing, and maintaining Solution Designs and Architectural Models to support the Programme, in particular working with the Digital Solution Architects to develop and model new architectural solutions as Deployed Platform Services move from the current ways of working under the Contract to new ways of working under OpNET.

Main Responsibilities and Relevant Experience

  • Authoring, developing and maintaining Architectural Models and Solution Designs to support the DPS Programme.
  • Aligning Architectural models with project requirement sets, incorporating requirement traceability.
  • Ensuring alignment and coherence with existing Architectural models, including Digital Solution service models.
  • Ensuring alignment with Security Architecture at OFFICAL and SECRET classification.
  • Providing and documenting analysis to support architectural choices.
  • Modelling and documenting As-Is, To-Be and transitional architectures in the environment.
  • Carrying out stakeholder meetings to elicit and resolve Architectural issues.
  • Carrying out and documenting review cycles for Architectural models.
  • Authoring and managing requirement sets to support the Programme.
  • Aligning requirements with architectural models.
  • Preparing requirements sets for new Projects, along with review cycles.
  • Carrying out Stakeholder meetings to elicit requirements.
  • Ensuring alignment with requirements from other Projects.
  • Migrating exiting requirement sets for future operational services.
  • Communications and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and communicate a strong strategic direction and a persuasive future vision.
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills; using these to influence and challenge others, encouraging them to make the right decisions in line with the business/department strategy.
  • Thorough with work, exceptional attention to detail. Adaptable and flexible, adjusting to the requirements and strategic direction of the business.
  • Experience of developing, improving, and adapting tools, techniques and processes to fit the requirements of the business and solution.

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas cannot be accepted.
