BRAND NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH AN SME IN THE NATIONAL SECURITY SPACE FOR A LINUX ENGINEER WITH DV CLEARANCE

SUMMARY:

• Contract opportunity in London for a Linux Engineer to work on critical government projects.
• OUTSIDE IR35
• Flexible day rate up to circa £550
• Candidate must hold an active DV Clearance
• Central London based in an easily accessible location

WHO WE ARE:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team of experts in the security and defence space. designing, implementing, and managing Linux-based operating systems. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, administrating, maintaining, and supporting Linux servers, networks, and open source applications.

WE NEED THE LINUX ENGINEER TO HAVE:

• Active DV Security Clearance
• Experience working in an air-gapped environment
• Configure and build RHEL VMs providing system services (DNS, NTP etc)
• Experience using Ant/Ansible/Tower/Satellite to automate build processes across network (switches, firewalls etc), hypervisors (VMWare) and VMs from templates
• Experience with VMWare and Windows Server environments (Nice to have)
