QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FOR A QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER IN NEW MALDEN WORKING WITH A LEADING CONSULTANCY ON GOVERNMENT PROJECTS

• Contract opportunity in New Malden for talented Quality Assurance engineers to work on mission critical projects.
• You will have the chance to be sponsored through various levels of UK Government security clearance.
• Competitive day rate DOE – up to £375 p/d OUTSIDE IR35
• LOCATION: New Malden
• Shifts – two parallel streams of testing – 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm – Monday to Friday (every two-week rotation)
• Duration: Ends Mid-August

WHAT WILL THE QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER BE DOING?

We are looking for talented Quality Assurance Engineers with an interest in Public Sector work to perform Project Quality Assurance activities on assigned bids and projects with a focus on software engineering, systems integration, and test working with cutting edge technology. This role has the authority to prevent the release of deliverables until accepted standards are achieved.

THE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE….

Essential Qualifications/Experience

• Software Quality Assurance experience, ideally in a maritime system engineering environment
• Systems engineering integration and acceptance testing.
• Experience in developing and implementing ISO compliant processes.
• Experience of Quality Assurance support to identified Quality requirements.
• Demonstrable experience of Risk Management
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, 27001:2013

Other requirements

• Travel requirements: Some UK travel is required to attend team, preferred supplier, or customer meetings, and to attend training events. A valid UK driving license is required.
• Clearance: Must hold current SC and be a UK national
