Software Developer

Software Developer urgently required to work on a 5-month contract.

Location: Hybrid / Newcastle

The ideal candidate will have a background working in the Public Sector.

Key Skills and requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML.
• Leverage cloud services (AWS) for application development and deployment.
• Use Docker, Gitlab, Visual Studio, Github, and other development tools effectively.
• Work with packaged software like Bravo and Procserve SaaS.
• Test software applications using tools like Zephyr, Junit, JaCoCo, etc.
• Handle data processing tasks using MongoDB, REDIS, Dynamo, RDS, etc.
• Use digital storage & backup technologies effectively.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Familiarity with AWS, NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML.
• Experience with Docker, Gitlab, Visual Studio, Github.
• Proficiency in data processing tools like MongoDB, REDIS, Dynamo, RDS.
• Familiarity with QA tools like Zephyr, Junit, JaCoCo, etc.
• Strong understanding of cloud services and architecture tooling technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
