Project Engineer required by an award-winning thriving cutting-edge technology company providing on-premise and cloud secure by design solutions in to the Defence & Security Sector.  As a Project Engineer, can you tease out key system requirements from even the most ambiguous techies? Are you able to creatively refine solutions that meet those requirements? Are you able to look at existing processes and find new ways to improve efficiencies? Do you want to work in an organisation working on latest technologies and incorporating solutions in an innovative way? • Starting salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per year depending on experience

A few details about the role
As a Project Engineer you will have a diverse and interesting role.  Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding clients’ business needs and capturing their requirements/processes
• Conveying requirements to technical colleagues using industry standard toolsets
• Assisting project managers to support successful project delivery
• Ensuring solutions align to original requirements and the stakeholders’ vision

What you will need

• Business analyst experience on technical (ideally IT) projects
• Either holds or has recently held government security clearance already, or is suitable for and willing to go through the vetting process (suitability would include an absence of a serious criminal record, a right to work and live in UK and, preferably, a record of 5 years’ UK residency)
• Working within Agile and Waterfall environments
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Driven self-starter, keen to work in a small & dynamic team

Nice to have / Desirable skills

• Defence and/or Public Sector experience
• Project management exposure (Agile and Waterfall methodologies)
• Enterprise Infrastructure and Cloud projects
