SUMMARY:

  • Contract opportunity in London for talented Linux Engineers to work on critical government projects.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Linux Engineers to join our dynamic team of experts in the security and defence space. designing, implementing, and managing Linux-based operating systems. You will also be responsible for installing, configuring, administrating, maintaining, and supporting Linux servers, networks, and open source applications.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Log, telemetry tracing and troubleshooting experience
  • Strong Professional Linux System Administration and Engineering
  • Experience with Linux scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)

 

Skill/Role Requirements:

  • Administration and Engineering focused experience on open-source apps, K8s, Istio, API, WebRTC, Dev-OPS skills and any Voice / Video skills.
  • Need to be more opensource APP focused then general build / support and DevOps who can help our client develop the security.
  • Active DV Clearance

From there, across the resources that we recommend, the ask is that the candidates meet two of the following, but a coverage of the entirety:

  • Experience of docker or podman containers and image management.
  • Experience with supporting or developing a voice and video system
  • Understanding of OpenShift, Kubernetes and Opensource technologies
  • Experience with Jitsi or Istio service mesh
