WHO ARE WE?

We are recruiting a Linux Engineer to work with a multi-national, industry-leading cyber security/defence company in Manchester. Our teams are what drive us forward in our mission to make the UK as safe as possible. Therefore, we are looking for the best talent to join the team. Due to the nature of our clients, you must be eligible to go through security clearance on the job which you will be sponsored through. 

WHAT WILL THE LEAD LINUX ENGINEER BE DOING?

As a Linux Engineer, you will take be playing a key, lead role in all aspects of the system development lifecycle. Responsibilities include working in agile feature delivery teams to design, build, deliver and support systems to the customer. This will require using the latest technologies in the market with excellent training and development plans in place to do so.

WE NEED THE LEAD LINUX ENGINEER TO HAVE….

• Experience in designing, deploying and supporting Linux-based solutions using containerisation, IaC and DevOps tools
• Experience in automating tasks (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with containers (Docker, VMWare)
• Experience configuring routers and firewalls
