Junior Project Manager (Inside IR35)

 

Contract Term: 12 Months

 

Contracting Authority: The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office

 

Location: Hybrid & London ( 2 -3 days in London office per week) ( Travelling to East Kilbride may also be required)

Due to the urgent need to fulfil this role, the successful candidate must have active SC Clearance

 

 

As a Junior Project Manager your main responsibilities would be: 

 

  • Junior level project manager that can support with RIBA stage 3+ tendering Supporting with tender evaluation of the project & procurement Support with Outline Business Case /Financial Business Case direction Attend meetings & briefings Support the effective management of project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints. Working with key stakeholders to identify and track mitigations and escalating where appropriate. Work with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organisation, supporting the identification of key stakeholders and ensuring all individuals have been engaged in the development and delivery of the project. Support the planning and monitoring of overall progress of the project through the use of recognised project governance and reporting/planning tools. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to clear blockers or raising issues where appropriate. Support/contribute to the business cases that justify projects, ensuring costs/spend are tracked and monitored effectively. Support the development of and maintenance of the project plan for each stage of the delivery lifecycle, ensuring updates are recorded timely and accurately. Facilitate project workshops/meetings, with documented outputs and actions and timelines to inform the project plan.

 

 

 

 

You’ll have relevant experience in:

 

 

 

  • Project Management Commercial awareness Evidence of excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to work with little direction and evidence of being a self- starter. Able to demonstrate the professional credibility required to work collaboratively across project and organisational boundaries. Ability to flex across a range of priorities and deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Ability to facilitate project workshops and events. Demonstrate a working knowledge/understanding of project planning and reporting tools.

 

 

Desirable Criteria:

 

  • Experience in a historical building project
