We currently have an exciting role for an Operational Learning & Development Co-Ordinator to join our busy Belfast based team in our Shared Service Centre (SSC).

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced training co-ordinator to make a real impact, operating as part of the HR Solutions team in Belfast. You will provide support across the SSC, identifying training needs, delivering training (both induction and operational) and supporting the HR Solutions management team in delivering improvements across all contracts.

What you???ll be doing:

  • To own and deliver comprehensive Learning and Development support solutions to SSC Staff.
  • Deliver high quality training to new and existing staff members
  • To be responsible for working alongside the Management team in identifying and implementing all mandatory and other training needs for all staff
  • Work with the management team to identify training gaps and deliver actions to resolve
  • Identify tools and process to support the retention of knowledge following training delivery
  • To promote Learning and Development within the SSC and where appropriate contribute to business related projects, creating training material and delivering to project plans
  • To focus on development of our people to drive business performance.
  • To plan learning and development activity to meet existing and future business requirements within agreed timescales and with available resources
  • To monitor the quality of all training delivered and propose action for its improvement where required based on evaluation
  • To design, deliver and procure, as appropriate, a wide range of learning & development solutions, including systems, procedural, skills and management training
  • Review and update existing training material
  • Support the management team with coaching methods and where required deliver 1-2-1 training support
  • Support and work with Line Managers to maintain training records and ensure compliance across all teams
  • Work with the Management team to ensure training delivery is managed inline with SLA and business requirements
  • Adhere to and promote Capita values, leading by example
  • Any other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the duties and responsibilities / grade of the post as defined


What we???re looking for:

Essential

  • A recognised Training Qualification e.g. PTTLS or an Assessors Qualification.
  • Experience of training groups and/or individuals with proven experience in identifying training requirements, building training material, delivery and evaluation
  • Experience of designing and delivering effective Induction Training
  • Experience in building training resources and tools to support embedding of knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages in particular PowerPoint or other training software/tools
  • A self-starter, working with minimal supervision, trusted and comfortable taking on responsibilities
  • Strong organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive approach to change and ability to promote new ideas/innovation


Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience delivering training within a Shared Service Centre environment
