The role

The difference our new Assistant Production Scheduler will make

As an Assistant Production Scheduler you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll join a diverse and dynamic team of production, project, engineering and other functional staff working together to deliver exciting cutting edge defence projects to UK and international clients.

Day to day, you'll assist with identifying and resolving overloads, within multiple work centres, and to recommend the best business solutions which minimises the impact on health & safety, utilisation of shop floor space, cost, quality and schedule. You'll also schedule the delivery of high quality engineering products with high complexity and low volume as well as plan for priority, overtime, shift work and WorkCentre efficiencies.

Essential experience

• Relevant experience
• Must have worked with detailed production plans in a professional production engineering environment, preferably for a company producing high quality, high complexity, low volume products.
• Experience of forecasting completion dates for multi-stage complex projects
• Very organised, methodical and excellent problem solving skills.
• You must have SC clearance with the ability to obtain DV clearance
