Your responsibilities in this role:
- Work to standards, processes & procedures, ensure rigour, resilience and continuous improvement in solutions, meeting all regulatory requirements, conforming to specifications, quality and certification requirements
- Support the technical compliance, verification and validation activities of all contractual, statutory and legal requirements
- Ensure that the technical solution is fit for purpose and meets the customer requirements while working within the allocated electrical engineering budget for each project
- Work collaboratively with all disciplines to ensure effective integration of electrical systems and components within mechanical restraints to ensure a defined electrical build standard
- Production of electrical plans, schedules, procedures, specifications, reports and other deliverables as required. Produce electrical design drawings using the approved electrical design software package
- Conduct peer checks of electrical drawings and electrical checks of applicable mechanical drawings
- Carry out mark-up changes on drawings as required and raise Queries in PLM to ensure configuration control and defined build standard
- Support the CE marking of in-house manufactured electrical equipment
- Provide electrical engineering support for trials & testing including ATS functional testing

- Sound understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with energy and enthusiasm.
- Ability to apply your skills and knowledge across a wide and diverse range of projects.
- Good understanding of BS 7671 Low Voltage Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations (current edition).
- Understanding of electrical drawings including (but not limited to) Block Diagrams, Schematics, Wiring Diagrams and Harnesses
- Production of electrical test documentation
- Planning and delivery to schedules
- Beneficial to have experience supporting development of engineering solutions
