Technical Architect

Status: Outside IR35

Daily rate: £500

Location: London

Clearance: SC minimum, DV preferred

Length of contract: 240 days.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Architect this role is accountable for developing high-level and low-level technical designs for customers that meet business, technical and security requirements. A key element of the role will be to provide the technical expertise and quality assurance for all aspects of design, documentation, processes and products, including assessment of supplier performance.

Scope and Objectives:

- Support and review existing and new requirements, including URD, SRD, HLD, to ensure content and clarity to an appropriate level of detail

- Ensure requirements for solutions are being met by the proposed solution design

- Review activity and provide SME input into proposed solution designs, including requirement definition, security considerations, functional fit, capability and delivery

- Build and migrate software and services across the organization.



Skills and Experience Required:

- Confident in the development and use of suitable architectural standards (including but not limited to DoDAF)

- Experience creating low- and high-level technical designs

- Knowledge of design and architectural patterns

- Substantial experience of server/operating system and network technologies as a minimum Gateway, Email, Chat, Webb, PKI and Directories

- Working knowledge of auditing and security products configuration and implementation
