EW Solutions Architect - Electronic Warfare

Role: Solutions Architect to work within EW & ISTAR

Location: Bristol with remote

Salary: Up to £80,000 + car and bonus

Are you an ex EW Capability Manager? Perhaps a systems engineer/architect with a wealth of experience within EW and CEMA?

We're working with a Bristol based defence firm that are looking for a Solutions Architect to join their Business Development team. The role will sit between Engineering & Sales and you'll be involved in defining solutions and innovations for the UK MoD across Land & Maritime EW products.

As a prime the business is steeped in capability and is bringing it's own product to the UK market, providing bleeding edge to the UK user groups rather than assembling other business' components.

You will work alongside the Head of Campaigns and VP of the business, approaching the vast UK Land market as they go through an EW transformation. The role of solution architect will mean that you will be the technical point of contact within bids and campaigns and liaise with the user groups to bringing tangible and needed solutions to the market.

When not engaged in business winning activities there will be the opportunity to work with the technical delivery teams as the EW SME and work on active deliveries such as MEWP.

In terms of work life balance the role will be Bristol based with key stints in the office during bids and key research points but will offer the capability to work from home and visit user groups in the UK & abroad.

Key skills;

• Solutions and Innovation focus
• Deep technical understanding of EW across either Land, Air or Sea
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
• A keen eye for commercial details and a love for technology.
