Role of the Agile Coach/Consultant
Capita Public Consult & Transform works across UK public sector delivering better outcomes for UK citizens and government organisations. The Agile practice sits at the heart of digital transformation agenda for Capita clients as well as internal departments.
As an Agile Training Coach, you have extensive experience in delivering agile training, coaching, assessments, and transformation programmes across the public or private sector and are responsible for the successful delivery of projects reporting to the lead coach.

The role of Agile Training Coach is to take responsibility for elements of a larger consulting engagement and collaborate with clients and delivery partners as part of formal or informal consultancy engagements. Agile Training Coaches play an active role in enabling Defence and other sector leaders, managers and teams understand and apply Scrum to the challenges they face.  Training Coaches work mostly onsite at locations in central London, greater London, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Cornwall.

You show deep expertise of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum@Scale as well as an attitude of getting the job done whilst continuously building relationships with client and delivery partners, you do this in line with Capita values of openness, integrity, collaboration, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
 
    Working with delivery partners to understand our client???s business context and priorities Deliver Agility programmes in a senior capacity based on client needs including Scrum@Scale, SAFe and Lean methodologies Work with colleagues across the business to design and deliver enterprise-wide Agile transformations, or to work in more targeted areas supporting teams, or teams of teams to adopt Agile ways of working  Supporting the delivery of classroom training in ScrumInc???s Scrum curriculum Teaching elements of ScrumInc???s training courses Coaching course attendees in the practical application of ScrumInc???s teaching both during the training sessions, in subsequent follow-up activities and in ad-hoc, informal sessions Rapidly grasp our client???s domain of expertise, core challenges and organisational ambitions Place client need at the centre of your thinking, working with colleagues to shape Lean/Agile approaches to solve qualified and prioritised needs Design, lead and support Lean/Agile workshops Assess, implement and coach Lean/Agile ways of working for clients Cultivate Lean/Agile learning and development, through one-to-one coaching Foster Lean/Agile ways of working, and champion a mindset of continuous improvement to enable positive cultural change, both with clients and across the business Effectively communicate Agile principles and practices in a simple and effective way Contribute to the development of Agile tools and materials Be skilled in the use of Agile tools e.g. Azure Dev Opps or JIRA
