Belcan has an exciting opportunity for Aerospace Design Engineers to work within the Belcan Aircraft Repair team.

These are Permanent roles, primarily based in Bristol. Contract roles also available

Belcan's Aerospace Engineering Division is currently moving through a period of significant growth, we are looking to recruit a team of Design Engineers at all levels, on a Permanent or Contract basis.

In our Aircraft Repair organisation, our current team is built upon our 16+ years of Aircraft Repair Engineering heritage designing, analysing, approving, and delivering minor and major primary and secondary structural repairs.

Your Role

Our Repair Design Engineers work closely with our clients to ensure all requirements are met on time, in full, whilst continuously maintaining Belcan's high standards of quality and service.

You will use Catia V5 CAD to create assembly drawings as well as interrogating DMU's and technical reports to provide repair designs within a short turnaround.

Examples for these repairs could include:

• Lightning strikes,
• Uncontained rotor failure damage
• Repair embodiment programmes covering entire fleets for large commercial and military aircraft (fixed wing and rotors).

Requirements

Candidates with a minimum Mechanical HNC Qualification or equivalent and relevant experience will be considered.

Clear experience and understanding within the use of Catia V5 is essential.

You will understand airworthiness standards and preferably have some relevant experience in the maintenance of aircraft.
