We have huge plans this year and need your help steer us in the right direction. Here’s the exciting thing – you’ll be our very first Product Manager.

This year we celebrate a forty-year pedigree of providing data solutions to customers across industries such as Electronic Warfare, Software, Cyber and ICT services. Our existing products and services are used world-wide, but we recognise the enormous value that a Product Manager will bring to MASS as we continue to develop these, and new solutions.

You will be based at our Lincolnshire Offices but will have a hybrid mix of being collaborative across our network of UK offices, customer sites and working from home.

How you’ll support us

As the first person to sit in our Product Manager seat, your specialist subject will be ‘what the market wants, and what we can and should supply’.

Your experience will be utilised by our Executive Management Team and their intertwining Groups, utilising customer and market trends to help us define business plans and roadmaps. You’ll be responsible for creating the processes and procedures, connecting to the right people to help record and justify commercially viable recommendations, influencing both the successes and decisions around:

  • High-level product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • New products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures
  • Market and customer requirements
  • Product position and price
  • Project/resource management towards go-to-market
  • Ongoing customer satisfaction

The invaluable experience you’ll bring, to help us achieve more

We’re expecting that you have experience as a Product Manager in a technical field:

Must have experience:

  • Successfully managed multiple products through the full lifecycle; conception to market
  • Business plan creation through Market analysis and product roadmapping
  • Ability to influence, challenge and present plans to senior stakeholders

Nice-to-have experience:

  • Defence, national security, or highly regulated industry
  • Knowledge of modelling and simulation software products
  • Knowledge of data management software products
  • Knowledge of agile software development and minimum viable product approaches

Our non-negotiables:

Due to the highly-secure nature of the projects you will be involved with, you must be eligible to work in the UK and be eligible to undergo and maintain UK Government Security Check (SC) level clearance.
