Purpose of role
To deliver high quality training in line with Company standards and contractual requirements
Sultan Training operates within an environment of continuous improvement in support of the MoD; as such all employees are required to:

Ensure that they work in an effective collaborative manner with MoD staff, displaying the appropriate behaviours at all times.

Main tasks
• To deliver training in Electrical & Electronic principles in accordance with the Training Plan and Sultan Training Standing Operating Procedures.
• To assist in maintaining and updating training documentation.
• To assess student course work and provide feedback on performance
• To be responsible for the duty of care of trainees during the delivery of training.
• To carry out equipment maintenance for which suitable qualifications and experience are held.
• Ensure Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times.

What do I need to do the role?

Qualifications:
• Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DCTS Defence Train The Trainer Course or equivalent (successful completion)
• Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace

Experience:
• Consolidated experience, or directly employed in electrical and electronic engineering principles.
• Previous knowledge in the application of Marine electrical and electronic theoretical and practical instruction to level 2 and 3 Electrical Engineering courses with an awareness of Electrical Theory, Electrical Safety, Power & Distribution, High Voltage, Electrical Test Equipment, Electrical Maintenance, Damage Control and Waste Processing.
• Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian electrical and electronic environment
• Experience in the development of electrical and electronic engineering based training courses

You must hold or have ability to obtain SC security clearance
