Looking to join an award winning team? This is the role for you!

Enfield’s Counter Fraud Team, together with our shared service partners at Waltham Forest, recently received a Public Finance award in recognition of our outstanding work in the fields of fraud detection and recovery.

We are now looking for two dynamic and innovative Counter Fraud Investigators to build on our past achievements.

You have significant experience of:

  • investigating suspected fraud and corruption
  • creating and delivering fraud prevention initiatives
  • initiating and concluding proactive investigations

You also have experience of managing a complex workload and of dealing with conflicting and changing demands. Ideally you will be an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist who can work independently or as a member of a team with equal enthusiasm and ability.

Relationship building with colleagues across the Council, including senior management and external stakeholders, is key to this role and you will have the experience, confidence and credibility to do this.

We look to continuously improve our service and you will be committed to this too.

Local Authority experience is desirable for this role but is not essential.  We are looking for you to demonstrate how your previous experience, skills and knowledge can bring value to Enfield.

So if you have keen attention to detail, excellent written and verbal skills and have the vision and experience we are looking for, we’re ready to hear from you.

How to apply:

This role requires that you upload 2 documents - in the "Document upload" section of the online application form.

1. A supporting statement addressing how you meet the requirements of the job description and person specification. Your supporting statement should be around 2 pages in A4 format.

2. Full work history document completed since leaving full time education, as this is a safeguarding role and requires you to work with Children and/or vulnerable adults.

Please note if your supporting statement is longer than 2 A4 pages, your application may not be considered or reviewed
