The Serious Crime Division are seeking applications for the role of Investigation Support and Research Clerk.

In this role you will receive, record and develop instances of Economic Crime, preparing and forwarding the relevant records and files to other GMP units as well as providing assistance and support to investigative officers in the Economic Crime Section. You will also provide assistance and support to the Financial Investigation Research Assistant as required.

You will have worked in a clerical environment in a similar capacity to this post and be competent in using computer systems including Microsoft packages and the Internet. The ability produce written work to the required standard, accurately and concisely in order to meet deadlines is essential as is the ability to conduct research and analytical tasks including inputting, recording and retrieving information plus the monitoring of patterns and trends.
