The Intelligence Support Officer plays a critical role in ensuring that GMP's intelligence service is functioning optimally and is responsible for many of the intelligence processing activities that are essential to the work of an Intelligence Unit. In this role you will be responsible for inputting data and maintaining record management systems, as well as verifying and cross-referencing information to identify links. The successful candidate will have carried out duties involving the inputting, recording and retrieving of data and information. Experience of assessing or prioritising a range of issues/threats/risks, as well as having good communication skills and being able to support the preparation of reports is also an important part of this role.
