Technical Consultant - London

Currently have a requirement for a Technical Consultant, to join my client on an initial 6 month contract, with view for possible further extension/

We have been advised by the client that this role will require the successful candidate to be based on site at the clients offices in London, 3 to 4 days per week, with the remainder of your time being based remotely.

Due to the nature of the role and the time scale and requirements issued by the client, candidates have been advised to hold current and active high level (DV) clearance for this role.

We have also been informed that this role has been determined to fall inside of IR35 regulations.

Job Specification 

• We are looking for an experienced consultant looking to shape and lead teams, a technologist looking to apply their skills to a different challenge, or a government operational user wanting to link your experience into the growth of capability
• Experienced with agile delivery methodologies and potentially have experience of their application at scale
• Keen to work with our offsite teams to help us better integrate a broad range of existing and new capabilities both within our business and supplier ecosystems
• Willing to work on customer sites in London for 3-4 days a week, with your remaining time either in The Client offices or remote

Key Capabilities and Knowledge

• Our Technical Consultant roles are difficult to define, given the wide range of work we find ourselves involved with. You may have experience as a Business Analyst or Business Change Manager alongside deep technical knowledge, or you may be an Engineer or Technical Architect who is looking to get involved in more client-facing work.
• You may have expertise in one or more of a wide range of relevant technical disciplines, for example Cryptography or Cyber Security.
• You will have the ability to follow conversations and absorb information at relatively deep levels of technical complexity, then translate to business language for non-technical stakeholders.
• You may have experience of technical requirements management.
