Systems Integration (Electrical) Engineer - Outside IR35 - 12 Months – Hybrid

Global leading engineering service provider requires a Systems- Integration (Electrical) Engineer to act as technical lead and carry out electro-mechanical Integration activities as required by the business on maritime systems.

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience that can be applied to electrical and electro-mechanical design in an Inboard (dry) sub-sea / surface ship platform environment. Design of associated copper (electrical) / fibre (optical) network interconnections, cable and harness assemblies, power distribution and data comms. Full engineering lifecycle experience (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Testing). Experience of designing to meet EMC and environmental requirements and LV Directive. Experience of producing electrical designs and certifying designs compliant with RoHS and REACH Directives. Experience in Designing cables and harness assemblies, utilizing military-style connectors and backshells, such as MIL-DTL-38999. Experience of producing Technical Files and certification to meet CE / UK CA marking requirements in a structured and evidential manner
