Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is searching for a Supplier Programme Manager - FW in Bristol/Yeovil/Gosport, UK. This role will have responsibility across the E-7 and C-17 Training Programmes for managing key supplier performance and relationships. It will support programme and SCM leadership in a consolidated approach to supplier performance, and support decision making by contributing supply chain subject matter expertise into mitigation of key risks and opportunities. This role will have a home office location, but both domestic and international travel is expected more than 50% of the working week in order to spend time on site with key stakeholders and suppliers. This role will report to the Supplier Management & Procurement Manager for BDUK Fixed Wing Supply Chain.

Responsibilities
- Serves as lead on behalf of Fixed Wing Supply Chain Management into the E-7 Flight Test team and a supporting SCM point of contact in C-17 Training Services.
- Understand the portfolio of works to support the programme and provide technical and business guidance to tactical SCM activities. Supporting the Procurement Agent in contract negotiations, scope identity and contract placements and supporting the Supply Chain Specialist in managing stores and inventory.
- Represents Supply Chain Management at Programme meetings & Leads Key Supplier Meetings.
- Manages technical, business, product delivery, quality, RIO, MDAL and in-service aspects of key supplier/subcontractor relationships and performance of the Test and Evaluation supplier relationship,
- Identifies and manages all aspects of supplier, statement of work, RAA, contractual commitments and performance to support company procurement strategies and contractual compliance and establishes operating plan.
- Devise the processes for interaction with Test and Evaluation supplier - requirements and scope, and record/administer these processes and train the BDUK staff on how to enact and use them.
- Leads internal stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
- Responds to programme customer issues, researches situation and advises on resolution.
- Communicates to the programme, any supply chain risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders. Evaluates and supports elements of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
- Develops, prepares and delivers supply chain programme presentations and programme reviews.
- Creates and monitors supply chain performance metrics. Responsible for accurate and consistent measurement and recording of Key Performance Indicators. Monitors the performance of Supplier Data Requirement Lists deliveries & reports on this status to the Programme.
- Engages in SPM best practice to ensure an aligned internal stakeholder community and an engaged and proactive supplier relationship.
- Have a working knowledge of all relevant job practices, PROs, principles and concepts
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years Supply Chain experience.
- Demonstrated experience working within dynamic global supply chains.
- Experience in executing acquisition or sustainment projects within MRO industry
- Experience in senior roles within a matrix organisation (desirable)
- Dynamic, innovative and like to think outside the box;
- Able to communicate, influence and engage a diverse group of engineering and programme management professionals
- An advocate for diversity and inclusion and will be actively involved in leading change;
- An excellent communicator who can engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams;
- Outcome focused and demonstrates strong values-based leadership.

- MCIPS qualified preferred
- Active UK security clearance
- Experience supporting proposal preparation for UK government contracts
