A Warehouse Operative position has become available within one of our busy operational hubs in Gosport, Hampshire!
The successful candidate will be required to process parts through the Warehouse, performing but not limited to Receipts, Issues and Stocktaking transitions to meet our customer's requirements.
Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc. Monitors and analyzes work in process. Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability. Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under limited supervision.
This is a fixed term contract for 6 months duration.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform day to day Warehouse operations to include but not limited to, Receipt / Issues and Stocktaking in line with business and regulatory processes and procedures.
- Assist with the loading / unloading of delivery vehicles.
- Perform on site deliveries as required by the business to maintain operational readiness
- Analyse documentation in line with the current processes and regulations.
- Support business KPI's.
- Liaise with freight agents / hauliers as required.
- Perform Warehouse operations in line with HMRC Import Regulations.
- Assist with departmental audits.
- Maintain Health and Safety standards and ensure business polices are adhered to.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- MJDI Qualified.
- Previous Warehouse knowledge and/or experience of working in a Military stores environment.
- Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Be in possession of a Counter Balance / Reach Forklift licence and used within the last 2 years.
- Knowledge of HMRC regulations and the impact it has on current operations is advantageous, but not essential.
- Dangerous Good Awareness (ADR / IATA / MDG).
- Be IT literate with common MS Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- GCSE Qualifications to include Maths and English.
