Systems Verification Engineer

Our client in Cheltenham is looking for a Systems Verification Engineer to join them for a 12 month contract.
 
This work requires the individual to be in a bench physically present testing requirements for a power distribution controller used on a safety critical system. Requires the person to also liaise with experts and find better means for debugging.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering all Verification Evidence for Safety of Flight and Certification for a given Power Distribution Controller.
• Delivering all appropriate Test Reports and Test Procedures to a suitable standard.

 
 
Qualifications and Experience

• Aerospace Engineering degree desirable,
• Systems Verification experience in a Aerospace setting,
• Understanding of DOORs,
• Good understanding of how to perform Black Box Testing
• Good understanding of how to perform White Box testing if required,
• Good communicator and team player,
• Willing to support high power testing at a larger multiple black box level integration testing if required,
• Willingness to learn how to work in a high risk, high electrical power environment,
• Willingness to learn a new product and develop the best method of testing,
• Willingness to work on site full time if required.
