Systems Integration Engineer

Our client, a large government customer, are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join their team. The role is based in Bristol. The role requires SC clearance and candidates must be sole UK nationals.

Requirements are scheduled to run until 31/03/2023 and offer a rate up to £525/day

IR35 STATUS: Inside IR35. Our client has indicated that they intend to operate the engagement as Inside IR35. Candidates would be required to operate through an umbrella company on this engagement. The rates above represent rate payable to the umbrella co.

Key Deliverables

•       Ensure systems effectively integrates and meets the requirements stated in the System Requirements Documentation by reviewing all relevant design documentation and attending and contribute to all design reviews.
•       Establish a collaborative working arrangement with the Prime Contractor’s Mission Planning System Lead Engineer
•       Minimum monthly face to face meeting with his counterpart
•       Provide a joint quarterly report to the Quarterly Programme Meeting  Progress reports and briefings.
•       Work with the staff to fully understand the knowledge, skills and experience of the operators thereby ensuring they are capable of producing the required outputs from the system.
•       Attend and contribute to the Training Working Group and engage closely with technical specialists.
•       Progress reports and briefings.
•       Contribute as a SQEP member of the safety panel and project security working group. 
•       Contribute to delivery of the project Engineering Management Plan.
•       Represent the project at working groups/advisory committees as required.

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, this role will not offer Visa sponsorship. Tier 2 – General visas cannot be accepted.
