In addition, you will contribute to the development and implementation of any relevant processes, procedures and training related to radioactive waste management and the radiation protection program to implement the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017, including radiological risk assessments, survey programs, local rules, monitoring standards and dosimetry. You will provide support to management and external services to ensure effective practical radiological emergency preparedness, including the training of fire departments, site personnel, local hospital and ambulance services as well as the performance of the ESLO role in the NERO organisation.
