Project Support

SPA has an immediate requirement for a Project Support to assist the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence (MOD) with the delivery of the cyber risk management framework project. Your role will be to support the smooth running of the project as a Project Support Officer/ Junior Consultant. You will work directly to the delivery lead, but you will support all team members in their delivery tasks.

Remote working is viable with the possible occasional travel to Corsham and London.  Off payroll rules apply (inside IR35) for this opportunity.

Role:

• Project Administration: Supporting all teams members with project information management, managing key project artefacts (e.g. delivery trackers and risk logs), and supporting the regular drumbeat of project meetings as directed by the delivery lead.
• Workshop Support: Supporting workshops as required, including supporting room/site access, developing records of decisions and actions, and taking part in breakout tasks.
• Ad hoc Tasks: You will be required to flexibly support the relevant project lead on developing priority deliverables, this may include taking ownership of delivery tasks under supervision and development/polishing of documentation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Able to work on several concurrent subjects to tight timescales and have a pragmatic approach to the resolution of several complex challenges.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and learn quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
• Able to work collaboratively within a team to develop and deliver consistently.
• Highly organised and excellent attention to detail.
• Due to nature of role, must be UK national only (no dual)
• Must be in possession of an active UK Secret (or above) security clearance.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• A broad knowledge of how Defence Operates and experience of working in the MOD.
• Experience of working in a project delivery environment.
• Cybersecurity, governance or risk management experience.
