The Business Support Services Branch provides a wide range of specialist support to GMP in order to enable the Force to provide the best possible service to the public of Greater Manchester.
To assist in ensuring the provision of an efficient Vehicle Recovery Service to the Force.
To also provide a financial and administrative support function within the Duty Office Unit.
Carried out duties/tasks relevant to the post including checking/recording/inputting information and associated filing.
Experience of administration systems and procurement, and financial procedures.
Experience of working in a customer service function or customer focused environment.
(Training will be provided in the operation/use of equipment, procedures/techniques etc.)
Experience of processing invoices for payment and updating computer records accordingly.
Experience of using spreadsheets.
Good keyboard skills.
Ability to elicit relevant information from members of the public, contractors and staff.
Has achieved a good attendance record
Full UK driving Licence
The role will require you have a good level of physical fitness - able to lift, bend and carry items of property/ vehicle recovery equipment.
