Electrical Installation Designer
Here at KDC we are recruiting for an SC Cleared Electrical Installation Design Engineer for an outside IR35 contract opportunity. Please read the below description of the role to see if it could be for you!
Project Description
Various Major and Major modifications to existing aircraft (Civil and military), which require changes to their electrics and avionics.
Essential Skills
- SolidWorks and SC required
- Experience of flight test instrumentation
- Aircraft electrical installation requirement
- Aircraft electrical integration design
- Looming and zonal safety, routing requirements
- Box level connector to connector
- Zonal safety requirements
- Segregation between systems.
Must have practical understanding of physical changes and to be able to implement in SolidWorks these practical solutions to electrical integration / installation problems.
Advantageous Skills
Airworthiness. Aircraft maintenance background. Some Avionics integration. Wiring / harness / connector design.
