We are looking for candidates with strong Data Analysis / Combat Modelling experience within the defence sector.

Relevant experience in:
* A basic familiarity with Linux
* Working with military users.
* An Operational Analysis/Operational Research mind-set and experience (as the model outputs will support further analysis).

As a Senior Combat Modelling Analyst (Land domain) your main responsibilities would be to:

* Deliver the first tranche of modelling for Tactical Actions (TAs), which are bite-sized combat situations which commonly occur in the scenarios of interest. These will incorporate:

- Management of performance data.
- Liaison with subject matter experts and military advisors.
- Implementation of schemes of manoeuvre.
- Replication and debugging.
- Analysis and presentation of results.

* Strong experience of using analytical combat simulations is required.

* Support the senior technical staff and technical partners in the development of new models, including supporting review and acceptance processes.
