Job Description:

 

SAAE Mission. The School of Army Aeronautical Engineering (SAAE) has the responsibility of training, developing and delivering to the Field Army – on time and to the required standard – sufficient Aeronautical Technicians, Artificers and Officers in order to (support continuing airworthiness and) deliver success on operations. The successful candidate will be responsible to the Aircraft Training Manager for the effective and efficient delivery of training at SAAE, in accordance with authorised Plans, Directives, Orders and targets.
 

Your main responsibilities would be: 

 

  • Classroom and practical instruction on a topic within the Aircraft discipline and various allied subjects. Ancillary duties include lesson preparation and the production of training support material. Responsibilities comprise the control and supervision of students including the application of Health and safety. Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

 

You’ll have relevant experience in:

 

  • Experience in MOD Have active SC Clearance Practical experience in Aviation Maintenance Aircraft/Avionics with associated instructional experience at trade Recognised apprenticeship or a relevant alternative period of training and to have obtained an Ordinary National Certificate, BTEC, SCOTVEC in the relevant subject, plus have practical experience in that trade or specialism. Instructional training will be given to successful candidates who do not have previous instructional experience.
