Oracle ODI Developer - SC Cleared - Hybrid

One of our clients are looking for an experienced SC cleared ODI Developer to join them on a contract basis.

SC clearance required
Inside IR35
6 months initially
Remote with 1 day per week at Bristol

Responsibilities

* Design, development and sustainment of new Oracle ODI feeds
* Monitoring and support of the Oracle ODI environments
* Migration of database schemas & data from the existing warehouse using tools such as ODI and HVR
* Development of SQL routines to import new data feeds into existing data models
* Transfer and rebuilding of Cognos reports
* Sustainment of the live ODI environment including monitoring performance, ensuring data quality and resolving issues
* Ensure adequate performance and minimal downtime of Cognos environments carrying out daily checks as required
* Ensure customer Incidents & Service Requests are resolved within prescribed Service Level Agreement's
* Develop data models in Framework Manager along with reports and dashboards in Cognos Analytics
* Monitoring and support of the Cognos-based IBII (Integrated Business Intelligence Infrastructure) environments

Experience

* Knowledge and experience of building ODI routines and maintaining a live ODI installation
* Cognos 8/10/11 Server Administration
* Cognos Framework Manager and Report Studio
* Experience with Relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL (experience of No-SQL databases a plus)
* Experience with visualisation tools Tableau/Power BI or other analytics toolsets is a plus
* Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent communication skills
