Senior Systems Engineer (Defence) - Contract - Hybrid working - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Senior Systems Engineer to work at one of our clients, a leading defence organisation, on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and configuring a range of high-profile defence systems and products, whilst also providing the related post-launch support.

Responsibilities include:

- Create complex systems designs and support designs throughout the product lifecycle

- Provide analysis of existing customer requirements

- Produce documentation for specific bids and tenders related to new opportunties

- Analyse existing system documentation and make recommendations for change where needed

- Liaise with customers and suppliers as to existing agreements and pipelines

Experience required:

-  A background in systems engineering that encompasses the full support lifecycle and skills in creating system designs

- Previous experience of systems engineering in the defence sector would be highly desirable

- Strong skills in Verification, Validation & Testing techniques

- Full understanding of system architectures and integration between systems/products.

- Use of modelling tools to generate architectural designs

- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences

- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC).
