NATIS is a law enforcement organisation with responsibility for investigating serious crime where the public sector is the victim. NATIS works in partnership with central and local government policing and other law enforcement agencies.

In 2020 NATIS was tasked to lead the response to serious crime targeting HM government financial support schemes provided in response to the COVID 19 pandemic.

The service is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team as Finance Officer undertaking work as required across the organisation.

You will be required to monitor the organisation's budgets throughout the financial year, working closely with budget holders and assisting with budget forecasts.

This is a busy post in a high-profile area where the successful applicant will be expected to work well under pressure and be a self-starter who will take the initiative. You must be flexible, proactive, demonstrate good decision making, personal integrity and operate in a confidential manner.

You must hold National Security Vetting to a minimum of ‘SC’ level or be prepared to undertake this.

NATIS is a 24/7 function and when operationally necessary you will be expected to work through the night and on weekends and bank holidays.

NATIS operates an agile working policy. You will be expected to nominate a NATIS working base at one of a number of sites across the country and work from there when operationally required.

NATIS was created with the sponsorship of government to bring policing and government agencies together to investigate serious crime where public authorities were the victims.

In 2020 NATIS was tasked to lead on organised criminal gangs targeting HM government financial support schemes provided in response to the COVID 19 pandemic.

NATIS is a national function, hosted by a single public body but operating across the country. Our officers are employed directly in one of our specialist functions or attached to one of those units from a partner government or policing agency.
