Electrical Design Apprenticeship:
The role will require the individual to participate in various areas of practical and theoretical training combined with the Company specific training given in the workplace.

The apprentice will gain a solid foundation within a professional design office and have the opportunity to learn from professional and friendly individuals.

Typically the type of work Electrical Design Apprentices will be involved in will include; assisting in the production of scoping calculations and supporting analysis, models, drawings, design based documentation and technical reports for customers or specific projects.

As part of the apprenticeship, individuals will spend time undertaking placements across a range of business areas.

Apprentices also attend college to complete a nationally recognised Level 5 qualification.

Qualifications you'll get:
Level 5 Nuclear Technician Apprenticeship Standard

What you'll need:
A minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grade 4 (C) or above including English and Science, and Maths at Grade 5 (B) or above.
3 A Levels in related subjects or equivalent Level 3 qualification e.g. BTEC

Any link to design technology or CAD experience would be looked upon favourably. Whilst academic ability plays a part, we care as much about your attitude and desire to be part of our future at Cavendish Nuclear and we want to see evidence that you're genuinely interested in and enthusiastic about developing a career in CAD design.

Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths will need to achieve this level before taking the end-point assessment.

The apprentice must demonstrate the core requirements below and also demonstrate the specialist requirements in their chosen role.
