The IT Customer Support Analyst role is based within our Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) business unit.

Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) is a global function, with our largest site being Lakeside in Portsmouth, but we operate from multiple sites around the world. BCS supplies and operates all IT, security, procurement, and finance Shared Services. We are embedded alongside the operations that we serve, enabling us to maintain close working relationships that support delivery to our customers. We drive standardisation, simplification and automation across Babcock, to help generate sustainable value for the group and our external customers.

The role
The difference our new IT Customer Support Analyst will make
Joining Babcock as an IT Customer Support Analyst means you will be an integral member of the Business Corporate Services at our Brize Norton site.
Day to day, you'll be the first point of contact for all IT issues relating to Airtanker both in person and on the phone. Further to this, you will offer 2nd Line technical support of desktop platforms across all channels when required to achieve the SLA.

Essential experience
• Desktop fault management and rectification.
• Ensure documentation is maintained to agreed standards.
• Engage with Business Solutions staff as appropriate.
• Adhere to prescribed process surrounding tracking assets through the device lifecycle.
• Enforce and abide by Babcock International's security procedures, practices and culture.
• Engage with UK BIS teams for support in resolving incidents related to core infrastructure.
• Customer engagement inductions and on-site staff training for new starters.
• Proactive daily/weekly departmental infrastructure/AV checks.
