Risk Practitioner (Inside IR35)

 

Contract Term: 3 Months

 

Contracting Authority: Bank of England                  

 

Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in London office)

 

SC clearance is required for this role therefore the successful candidate must be willing to undergo security clearance.

 

As a Risk Practitioner your main responsibilities would be: 

 

 

 

  • To produce end-to-end process flow charts and accompanying risk and control information for specified processes resulting in material balances in the Bank’s balance sheet. Given the tight timelines and resourcing constraints, the phrase ‘art of the possible’ is relevant to the overall approach. Produce detailed flow charts displaying risks Identifying and assessing risks Using financial and statistical tools and software to evaluate risk. Presenting the results and findings of the analysis and making appropriate recommendations for improvement.

 

 

 

 

You’ll have relevant experience in:

 

 

 

  • SC clearance is required for this role therefore the successful candidate must be willing to undergo security clearance. Be able to make excellent use of existing process flow documentation Present professionally and with demonstrable experience when engaging with key contacts in business areas Be able to work independently but with judgement to know when to escalate to the Bank staff member managing this work (Head of Division Financial Reporting & Control). should have a finance background (eg professional finance qualification) Internal audit experience Experience of internal controls over financial reporting.
