Role:

We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team.
  • Leads, directs and reviews the work of professionals.
  • Communicates within and outside own function to explain and gain co-operation on policies and practices.
  • Makes moderate to substantial improvements to processes, systems and solutions.
  • Plans and establishes goals and objectives, for a team with direct impact on the short-term, operational results for the department.
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading / managing projects, processes and employees and has strong knowledge within professional discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining accounts and records in alignment with projects and other accounting functions. Review & finalisation of management accounts.
  • Maintain accounting systems: Journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, etc.
  • Compiles data, allocates costs, and prepares reports on labour, equipment, depreciation and other operating expenses and analyses financial reporting requirements.
  • Prepare company's annual statutory accounts.
  • Ensure all monthly, quarterly & annual corporate reporting deadlines are met.
  • Achieve and demonstrate satisfactory compliance with corporate's 'Compliance Plan for Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)' relating to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Ensure that all corporate deadlines for testing and other requirements are met.
  • Manage external audit process, clearing all queries in a timely fashion with the aim of achieving a clean audit report.
  • Responsible for adherence to, and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Head of Finance with forecasting and budgeting.
