Role Summary

We're now recruiting a newly created position for an HSE Specialist to help drive our Health, Safety and Environmental performances at our Poole Heatric site. The successful candidate will join at an exciting time of growth for the Heatric business, and play a key role in promoting health, safety and environmental behaviours.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive Health, Safety and Environmental performance and training programmes for employees ensuring compliance to regulatory standards.
  • Promote safe working behaviours and practises, supported by data, to reduce or eliminate hazards, unsafe conditions/acts.
  • Work to develop, implement and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental policies, programs and procedures to assure personnel safety
  • Perform safety audits, inspections and investigations of work environments, processes and operations in compliance with government regulations and industry standards and Heatric procedures
  • Ensure all applicable registrations, permits and licenses are in place and current; dispose of hazardous materials as per regulations.
  • Engage with the HSE Team to analyse hazardous situations and identify courses of action, while empowering personnel to achieve departmental safety goals and objectives.


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Fleuncy with industry Health, Safety and Environment regulations/ standards (ISO45001/ISO14001)
  • Industrial manufacturing background, ideally in fabrication/ welding environment
  • Ideally possess experience working with LOLER and Working at Height regulations
  • Engaging communicator
