Job Details
Copello have partnered with an Air Traffic Management services provider based in Hampshire, in the recruitment of an Installation Technician to join their installations team based in Oxfordshire or North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be accountable for the quality, technical integrity and the compliance against applicable standards and processes.
The role will include:
- Providing Installation support to assigned tasks and projects.
- Assessing the installation requirements and identifying any consumables required for the installation activity.
- Contributing to Installation delivery schedules.
- Acting as Installation Lead where assigned.
- Identifying and co-ordinating other resources needed to carry out installation.
- Ensure configuration management is fully addressed for all work and documentation changes are implemented within the project as built documentation.
- Working effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring satisfactory communications, and effectively tracking decisions and impacts on implementation or solutions.
- Full compliance with safety standards and company Health & Safety process and procedures.
- Timely escalation of project affecting factors to the Installation Engineer.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally:
- Have previous installation experience within an MOD or Military setting
- Possess the ability to identify and solve technical challenges
- Be able to make and terminate cables using industry recognised connectors and plugs
- Be able to read, follow and where necessary amend cable schedules and design drawings
- Possess good communications skills, with proven track record in carrying out installation activities and delivering to a high standard of workmanship.
- Demonstrate good IT skills with experience in Installation drawings, Site Visit/Survey Reports, junctions of maintenance documentation, risk assessments, method statements, site asset audit reports
To be considered for this role, you will also need to hold a full, clean UK drivers license and have access to your own car.
You must also already hold or be eligible to obtain SC clearance to be considered for this role.
