Project Manager - Fully Remote

Working as part of an expanding project team and alongside the PMO, the Project Manager will be responsible for end to end delivery of projects within Capita???s Modular People Solutions division.

The Project Manager will work on a range of projects and will also lead on workstreams within large programmes. The Project Manager???s prime responsibility is to ensure that projects deliver the required products within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, benefits and risk. They will also be responsible for the project producing results capable of achieving the benefits defined in the business case.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years project management experience and have Prince2 training or an equivalent project management methodology. It would also be desirable to have experience in managing IT/Technical related projects.

Responsibilities:

    Support the Development of the Business CaseAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Prepare the following baseline management products, and agree them with the project board:Project Brief, including the project product descriptionBenefits management approachPID, and its componentsProject PlanRAID and Actions logLessons Learnt log Prepare the following reports:Highlight reportsIssue reportsEnd stage reportsException reportsEnd project report.
  • Lead and motivate the project management team.
  • Manage the project plan using Microsoft project application
  • Liaise with portfolio, programme management or the customer to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated by related projects.
  • Liaise with any external suppliers or account managers.
  • Manage and track the project budget
  • Establish behavioural expectations of team members.


Requirements:

  • ?? At least 4 years of experience delivering projects;
  • ?? Have the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation;
  • ?? Have experience in leading technical projects or workstreams with both UK and Offshore teams
  • ?? You will be familiar with operating in complex and large-scale organisational environments;
  • ?? Desirable experience of managing the design, build, test and deployment of technology driven projects through the use of agile and waterfall methodology;
  • ?? Accreditation in industry-recognised qualifications and standards (including but not limited to PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, TOGAF, ITIL, COBiT, SAFe) is desirable but not essential
