Electrical Hardware Engineer

Our client in Cheltenham is looking for an Electronic/Electrical Hardware Engineer to join their team for a 12-month contract. This role will fall inside IR35.

 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of DO160 and DO254.

 

 

Key Activities

· Component and System level design impact analysis

· Updating PCB designs for manfuacturability

· Testing of design changes

 

 

Responsibilities

· Electronic design engineers with experience of working to PCB and component level.

· Experience at assessing the impact of electronic component changes at the design level

· Responsible for execution of design change for products within the team portfolios,  including changes to technical documentation, drawings, bills of materials, specifications, etc

· Working through corrective actions and design change projects

· Small scale projects with projects lasting only up to a month, most being 1 to 2 weeks

 

 

Experience and skills

· Experience or knowledge of DO160/DO254 as this is the context in which these design changes are made
